Thoughts on paper.
What does it mean to be able to identify with a culture that takes place in your work space as well as a place you grew up or live in? Specifically those with careers that posses industrial power.
In this study, I wanted to identify the relationship of two black influencers; depicting them as well dressed, well spoken, and politically intelligent individuals that are breaking racially systematic stereotypes, as well as being placed into "new" ones.
They work in the corporate world of industrial business and find themselves dealing with an identity crisis based on their colleagues, as well as those they consider family and hometown friends. They begin to develop a relationship with each other, not from their similarities in their cultural upbringing, but for their dedication as businessmen. Each image will have a question asked by all those that ignore the content of their character and emphasize on the color of their skin.

To conclude, what we see in people today shouldn't be at face value. There is something deeper that connects us in other ways we may not expect. This is a struggle people of color deal with, whether with each other or with people who are white. Without appropriating cultures, we can all learn to identify with each other and our interests.
Cheers.
